A IUMSP collaborator specialised in healcare services elected to the Central Committee of the Swiss Lung League

The Council of delegates of the Swiss Lung League has elected Dr and Professor Isabelle Peytremann Bridevaux to the Central Committee.

The Lung League welcomes this collaboration and thanks Ms. Peytremann Bridevaux for her commitment to the issues linked with lung health and air quality.

With Isabelle Peytremann Bridevaux within its Central committee, the Swiss Lung League gains a prominent health services specialist. Chronic diseases prevention and care, as well as the ensuing health services adjustment, constitute indeed a key aspect of Dr Peytremann Bridevaux’s expertise. She currently holds the position of UNIL SSPH+ (Swiss School of Public Health) Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (IUMSP).

Since 2007, she leads the research and development activities in the field of chronic diseases prevention and management, and clinical epidemiology. She also supervises the IUMSP’s team dedicated to patients' and healthcare professionals' satisfaction and opinion surveys [ESOPE], and is active within Cochrane Switzerland, be it in systematic reviews production as well as in knowledge transfer to practicing physicians. Prior to this, she had obtained a Master in public health (2003), two doctorates, in medicine (2001) and in sciences (2005), and led, simultaneously, an international career.

The Central committee’s members look forward to collaborating with her and thank her warmly for her commitment to lung health and air quality.
