Camille Poroes holds a Master's degree in Public Management and Policy from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She has developed her expertise in public health research in general, with a focus on themes such as health systems resilience and performance, the monitoring of impact of shocks like COVID-19 on health systems using indicators, seniors (NH admission, socio-economic inequalities, impact of COVID-19 on their daily life) and the colorectal cancer screening program with a specific aspect on shared decision making between general practitioners and patient. On these topics, she has completed and published various articles.
She is currently enrolled in the PhD program in Life Sciences at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) of UNIL with the Swiss School of Public Health+ (SSPH+) and the Swiss Learning Health System in Lucerne. The thesis project consists of adapting existing conceptual frameworks to measure the performance and resilience of health systems in times of crisis and to identify indicators for the service delivery.
