Sexual health and behavior of young people in Switzerland

This research, led by Joan Carles Suris, examines young people’s sexual and reproductive health and behaviors in Switzerland. The survey is expected to be repeated every 4 years. Participants are selected from a random sample of persons aged 24-26 years living in Switzerland provided by the Swiss Federal Office of Statistics. The study uses the life history calendar (LHC) method, which assesses events longitudinally and establishes temporal links between behaviors and health outcomes. The study also examines youth’s sexual health and behaviors in relation to life context to determine reciprocal influences.
