Informations personnelles
Nom de famille:

I am a Research Associate at the the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine, University of Lausanne/CHUV in Switzerland. I  studied public health at the University of Sheffield, School of Health and Related Research (United Kingdom), and University of Copenhagen, Global School of Public Health (Denmark). Following postgraduate training in public health, I  moved to Switzerland where I received her PhD in Health Sciences (Epidemiology) from the University of Bern, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine. I studied sources of variation in delivery care services across regions in Switzerland using a multilevel analysis to identify patient, regional and institutional characteristics associated with variation in institutional deaths, intensity of in-patient care and health care costs across regions in Switzerland. I'm currently involved in the project “Health care use and cost trajectories of people in the last year of life: improving planning and resource allocation in end of life care”, a study assessing healthcare utilisation and health status trajectories in the last year of life. Specifically, this study aims to describe health status, resource use, and costs of patients in their last year of life using routinely collected linked data in a representative sample of the English population.
