I am an epidemiologist at Unisanté studying epigenetic epidemiology and work in close collaboration with the start-up Genknowme (Innosuisse grant). I currently conduct research on epigenetic age and other epigenetic signatures of lifestyle exposures. Prior to this postdoctoral work, I worked at the Inserm center U1219 at the University of Bordeaux with a French dementia cohort and studied the influence of allostatic load on cognition. During my PhD and first postdoc, I studied differences in all-cause and cause-specific mortality outcomes in the Swiss traumatic spinal cord injured (TSCI) population. While the topics have varied, the underlying theme throughout my doctoral and postdoctoral work has been a focus on ensuring statistical and epidemiological rigor and bridging research with practice.
